Our visit from the Rev. Carla Robinson

On July 19th we were blessed with a visit from the Rev. Carla Robinson, the Diocesan Canon for Multicultural Ministries and Community Transformation. She offered the sermon at St. Benedict Episcopal Church at the 8 o’clock and 10:30 services.  

The Rev. Robinson also serves on the Diocesan Creation Care team and has been an eloquent voice on Social and Environmental Justice.

She met with the Vestry and congregation before our service to listen and offer guidance. Before our service she blessed a special bench in our Peace Garden that was given to the Glory of God in memory of Pat Basta.

We are thankful for her visit.
