Congratulations Clarice & Norman

Clarice and Norman Gregory will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on September 11th. Please join them with a celebratory cake after the 10:30 service on September 6th. 

Clarice and Norman met in a Department of Natural Resources fire camp where she was the camp cook and he was a forest fire fighter. They both admitted to each other a year later that within a week of meeting each other that each of them had recognized independently that God had ordained that they would be husband and wife.

They have 2 children and 5 grandchildren living in Beverton Oregon and near Niagara, Ontario, Canada. Clarice graduated from Seattle University as a Registered Nurse followed by Norman graduating from the University of Washington as an elementary school teacher. 

Norman later followed Clarice into the nursing profession and between them they have over 80 years of nursing experience. Coming from families where volunteerism was a basic life expectation they continue to carry on that tradition and will be heading out before the end of the month to volunteer for the National Park Service in Virginia.
