Harvest Sunday: Oct. 13

Celebrating the wonders of Creation, the bounty of the earth and all who sow and reap the harvest. The altar will be decorated with symbols of the harvest from our own gardens and the harvest of others all over the world that feed us with abundance. We also remember those whose access to healthy food is limited by poverty and the ministry of our local food bank our community dinner, and all who work to feed the hungry.
We will move our monthly Food Bank Sunday to the 13th as all the usable food from the altar decorations will be donated to the Thurston County Food Bank.
You are invited to bring the fruits of your harvest and other symbols of harvest time for the altar decorations.
